Removal and delivery

When removal happens
Removal is scheduled only after the buyer’s funds are held in escrow. Dates are set with the seller’s facilities team around their access rules and any vacate or install deadline.
Who removes the equipment
TradePark coordinates removal and delivery with licensed, insured riggers, de-installation engineers and freight carriers. The carrier and its terms are set out in the buyer’s quote. Large imaging systems may need de-installation by a qualified engineer, MRI ramp-down and building work such as wall or window openings; these are agreed and priced before funds go into escrow. A buyer who prefers their own rigger or installer can use them, subject to proof of insurance.
Data and documentation
The seller is responsible for removing patient data from any device that stores it before it leaves their facility. If the seller prefers, TradePark can arrange a certified NIST 800-88 wipe with a certificate, as a paid service. Radiation-emitting equipment may require state transfer notices and registration by the buyer; TradePark can prepare this paperwork as a paid service, and the buyer must hold any registration their state requires before delivery.
Risk in transit
The deal sets when responsibility for the equipment passes from seller to buyer. Every shipment TradePark coordinates is covered by cargo insurance arranged for that load, with the cost shown in the quote.
