Refunds and disputes

Last updated October 28, 2026

Because every sale runs through escrow, most issues are settled before any money changes hands.

Before removal

If a sale falls through before the equipment is removed, the escrow provider returns the buyer’s funds under the terms of the escrow agreement. Escrow provider fees may apply as set out in that agreement.

Inspection window

Each deal sets an inspection window after removal. If the equipment does not match the listing, the buyer raises it in writing within that window, with photos or a service engineer’s report. Funds stay in escrow while the issue is reviewed.

How disputes are resolved

We work with both parties to agree a fix: a price adjustment, a return, or release as listed. If seller and buyer cannot agree, the escrow provider’s dispute process applies, as set out in the escrow agreement both parties sign.

After funds are released

Once the inspection window closes and funds are released, the sale is final unless the seller and buyer agreed otherwise in writing.
